Workshops differ from yoga classes in that they are more interactive and educational then simply following along with a structured yoga sequence. Workshops combine education on a particular topic, interactive engagement from participants and application of techniques.

Workshops usually begin with a lecture style introduction to the topic, provide and open forum for questions and then demonstrates the poses, exercises, techniques or methods discussed, ensuring proper execution and understanding from participants.

 Workshops will often include a worksheet or take-home handout providing an overview of topics and techniques learned during the workshop.

Anyone can go and enjoy a delicious meal and enjoy the benefits of taste and pleasure but only by taking the cooking class, buying the ingredients and making it yourself can you enjoy it's benefits at home and have the option to modify the recipe to suit your needs best. A workshop is much like that cooking class. Understanding the hows, what's and why's are key components to healthy living for mind and body. These workshops will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills on the subject chosen, along with practical applications both in your yoga classes and your day to day life. The casual open forum provides opportunity to ask questions and gain clarification that are not usually a part of a traditional yoga class. The handout ensures you won't forget what you've learned once you leave.

 

Workshops range from 1-3 hours in length and can be made into a Lunch-and-Learn style, perfect for team building and educating employees.
